I Beat Daily (@iBeatDaily) Producer Beat Battle
First and foremost I would like to thank I Beat Daily for putting together a great producer beat battle competition. Even-though almost all producer beat battle can be very entertaining, this had to be one of the best I’ve been to, because of the production quality of all the producers. With the producers having to send tracks in previously to be selected for the event, 16 producers were choosen to battle for an AnR consultation and $500 dollars. With that said, all producers made sure to leave their heart on the stage, but only one came out superior. So shout out to Team E.C.S.T.A.C.Y. (@TeamEcstacy) for winning the beat battle. Willie Hen performs at I Beat Daily Beat Battle

With producer beat battles, I always end up meeting, or talking to artists I know, but in this case I really didn’t expect to see one perform. As I stood waiting for the event to start, I noticed that an artist came on the stage while a band was setting up. One thing I know is if an artist has a live band with them, 9 out of 10 times their going to be good. So right when the artist started to perform, I decided to turn on my camera and I’m glad that I did. Checkout an #ARTist by the name of Willie Hen perform at the I Beat Daily Producer Beat Battle.

M.I.A. Releases New Song
Yesterday evening M.I.A. decided to release a snippet of her new song, “Come Walk With Me”, that will be on her upcoming album, “Matangi” on twitter. Personally, I could not get into this song, but I definitely listened to the entire thing to watch the dancers freestyle to the song. Yeah that got me, smart marketing move on M.I.A.’s part, but definitely check it out and hopefully ABDC will be gearing up to change it’s name to WBDC (World’s Best Dance Crew).

On my mission to search for another great artists in Atlanta, I had the previlege to witness talent at it’s best. While at the Redlight Cafe located near Piedmont park, I met an artist by the name of Nova. This tall, skinny, Pittsburgh bred dude was introducing himself to the crowd hours before he performed and you can tell that people were already becoming admirers of this #ARTist’s personna. Me on the other hand, I was still skeptical and wanted to see if his performance matched his character. I must say, this dude caught and kept mine and everyone’s attention for his entire performance.
