Rihanna To Sexy For Nivea?
Just a year ago Nivea, the iconic skin-care brand across the world, Board member Markus Pinger said:
“Rihanna is a music icon and her digital footprint will help us bring our anniversary celebration to consumers wherever they are.”
Now, it seems that the company has changed their mind on the artist Rihanna and how they look at her for being a spokes model for the company. The company’s new CEO, “Stefan Heidenreich” told German Media that Rihanna is a, “No Go”.
“The advert starring Rihanna was a no go. I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with Rihanna,” Heidenreich reportedly said. “Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”
He personally doesn’t think that Rihanna is wholesome enough to represent the company in way they would like to be displayed.
Even-though in my eyes, I still see Rihanna as being a woman who is business oriented, but I guess when you have been caught smoking blunts on boats and wearing tops that are completely see threw in public many would probably feel they wouldn’t want her to represent what their company stands for. But hey, what other person would you want as a skin spokes model who has no problem showing off there skin?
