Ron Howard Directing Film For Jay-Z’s “Made In America Festival”

Even with the anticipation build-up of the Made In America Festival, now Ron Howard and Brian Grazer will be making documentary based around the concert. I guess they wanted to be apart of history in the making as well, but I can’t blame them. The event will consist of Drake, Skrillex, Pearl Jam, Run DMC, Rick Ross, Odd Future and Janelle Monae and more over a 2 day span.

I definitely can’t wait to see the finished product, especially since I won’t be able to make it to the concert, but I have high hopes that Ron and Brian will deliver a documentary that will make sure that people have a front row seat to the event.

Also Brian had a few words to state about the event and Jay-Z himself.

“The festival showcases 20 pre-eminent artists that speak to the new generation. … It is going to be born through Jay-Z’s perspective … how he puts the event together. … Jay stayed the king for a very long time. … I can’t even begin to explain how he is capable of remaining relevant. He is a phenom, like a musical Michael Jordan.”
