Beyonce and Jay-Z Raise 4 Million Dollars For President Obama Re-Election Fundraiser
With President Obama having Jay-Z and Beyonce on his side I think we can almost call this election over. Now if we can get Oprah to rock a “Vote For Obama” T-Shirt, or Hat…
But anyways, recently Jay-Z and Beyonce held a very upscale and lavish fundraiser at Jay-Z 40/40 club in New York City for President Obama, which actually raised 4 million dollars by charging donors $40,000 a plate. I must admit, that little email asking for 5 dollars doesn’t seem so much now, so I will be sending that out shortly.
But when meeting up with the power couple, it was reported by LA Times that Obama noted that Jay-Z and him have 2 things in common.
“We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we’ve got a little bond there. It’s hard but it’s OK.”
President Obama also gave accolades to Beyonce for being a great role model for his daughters as well.
