Is Timbaland And Missy Elliott Involved In Aaliyah’s Album?
Everyone knows that the creation of Aaliyah’s posthumous album has created some bad blood within the industry ever since it was stated that Drake was over seeing the project. Many would figure that Timbaland and Missy Elliott would be the first people given the privileged to look over the creation of the album since they worked with Aaliyah for most of her career. Barry Hankerson, CEO of Blackground Records and Aaliyah’s uncle, gave this recent statement to The Grape Juice about the project being created.
“Due to circumstances, we can’t control the emotional toll of healing of her legacy like others,” he said. “The intent is not to disrespect the family, nor do Blackground Records want to shed any bad light around Aaliyah’s legacy. We’d like to go in a different direction with the 16 tracks and have been more than open to work with past collaborators. So, Damon Dash – her ex fiance is more than willing to assist Drake and Noah in producing the album.”
So Drake and producer 40 “Noah” will be putting the album together? With this story, I’m to the point that I would like to see all of them in an interview with each other, answering the questions that people keep wondering and see who really is lying about who has a part in this and it’s really their ego that won’t let this matter go.
