The-Dream Now Executive Vice President Of A&R At Def Jam

Recently stated today, that Grammy Award Winner artists The-Dream has been anointed to be the new Executive Vice President of A&R for Def Jam Recording. Announced today by Barry Weiss, the Chairman and CEO of Universal Republic and Island Def Jam Motown and Karen Kwak and who is the Executive Vice President/Head of A&R at Island Def Jam Music Group.

One of the main reasons Barry Weiss anointed The-Dream with the position is because he is a producer and song writer who has the ability to write in a unique cultural point of view.

As an A&R, The-Dream will be responsible for overseeing projects by new artists and artists that are already with the Def Jam Recordings. Right now, The-Dream is also working with Rihanna and Pusha T in completing their new projects.
