Beyonce and Jay-Z Lose Blue Ivy Trademark Battle

Beyonce and Jay Z recently lost their battle with Trademarking the name, “Blue Ivy”, after their daughter was born. In January, the power couple tried to trademark the name, “Blue Ivy”, but in Boston there is a Party Planning Firm named, “Blue Ivy Events”, which has been in business since 2009. The company, after Jay and B tried to trademark it, sued the couple because they have had rights to the name since they began.

It was stated that Jay and B was planning to start a baby clothing line, but now… if started, they may have to work out something with the party planning company which will probably result in the company getting royalties from Jay and B sells.
