Nicki Minaj, Fader Magazine

As many women in the music industry are definitely claiming 2014 as their year such as Jhene Aiko, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Beyonce and more, Nicki Minaj took time to transition herself back to a more inspiring image of what I would feel would be Onika Tanya Maraj. With dropping the pink wig, rocking the Barbie chain and consuming herself with make up to look more like a doll that would fit a Pop image, Nicki is now seen rocking her own hair, less make up and tone down colors of clothing and has went back to her roots to what she came in the music industry as.

With the transfer of looking more like herself, Nicki Minaj is definitely being awarded more as this year she hit the big screen with the movie, “The Other Woman” starring Cameron Diaz, campaigns for Moscato, clothing line with K-Mart and her perfume and cosmetics. Now this year, Nicki Minaj hits the cover of Fader’s 2014 Fall Fashion issue and even without striking her “Anaconda” pose, I’m pretty she will still have all eyes on her.
