Today, Netflix is the most popular online network, which has become a huge source for movies, documentaries and loved t.v. shows. With allowing people to buy a monthly subscription, Netflix has made many to watch the movies they love as much as they want without having to physically purchase the movie itself. So for CES® 2016, it make a lot of sense that Netflix CEO, Reed Hastings will be there to deliver the keynote speech for opening day at the largest technology conference for businesses and consumers of technology.
Reed Hasting will be speaking on the expantions of Netflix and becoming nearly global by the end of 2016.
“Netflix continues to prove itself as a leading innovator by progressively changing the status quo of bringing entertainment to consumers,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA. “Reed is a talented leader, entrepreneur and a key influencer for innovation in technology. We look forward to hearing from an executive who is leading a company that has redefined viewer expectations and has quite frankly changed the way that we all consume content.”
Co-founded in 1997, Hastings has worked deligently to build he has today. Also Hastings is currently a board member of Facebook and was the board of Microsoft from 2007-2012. Even with his major success, Hasting is an active educational philanthropist and serves on the board of several educational organizations including CCSA, Dreambox Learning, KIPP, Pahara and the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley.
I wonder, if he has heard of the term “Netflix and Chill“. Aye, could be another type of movie he may want to start adding.
