The Nasir ‘Nas’ Jones executive produced movie, ‘The Land’ releases it’s first movie trailer and stars Erykah Badu and Michael K. Williams. The Steven Caple Jr. directed film is about a story of a group of young skate boarders out of Cleveland, Ohio look to make their way out of the crime infested city to become pro skaters in California. Things soon take a turn for the worst as they find a stash of stolen pills and have to answer to city’s drug Queenpin, “Momma” played by Linda Emond.
In the movies, cameos are seen by Ohio’s own Machine Gun Kelly, plus singer/songwriter Erykah Badu and Michael K Williams star in the movie as a crack whore named Turquoise and Williams as Pops. Set to be released on July 29, the movie also features artists such as Kanye West, Nas, Erykah Badu, Pusha T, French Montana and more on the soundtrack.
When it comes to movie trailer, the cinematography is crazy and camera angle used to shoot some of skate board tricks are breath taking. Can’t wait to see the full outcome.
