Even though I feel he doesn’t get enough credit for continuously dropping great music, Verse Simmonds does it again and drops another banger with his song, “Never Get Enough,” plus gives you a music video for it at the same damn time. On this song, the multi-platinum singer/songwriter gives you a smooth club banger, that explains his problem (if you want to call it that) of just loving as many women as possible.
One thing I like about this track, is that you can tell that Verse new this hook is vicious and is gonna be that HOOK that everyone is gonna find themselves singing along with as he has it continue to repeat to end of the song.
Also about the song Verse wanted everyone to know, “This song was recorded before the passing of Prince including interpolations of arguably his biggest hit “When Doves Cry.” We wanted to release this video 2 weeks ago”, Verse states, “but due to the timing of Prince’s passing we found it to be more appropriate to wait as we didn’t want it to appear that we released it around his death for exposure purposes rather than the real reason: inspiration and love of the original record. Rest In Peace to the Purple One!”
