You know you had a great day when it ends at Tree Sound Studios. Well Wednesday night, WhyCauseICan.com did just that. Mali Hunter, Tree Sound Studios and the Retnuh Agency family held a private listening dinner for Eardrummer Records own Rae Sremmurd and Mike Will Made It as they gear up to release their ‘Sremmlife 2’ album on August 12. Filled with great music, good people and great food and drinks, the event brought out many medias, DJs and music influencers for a wild night sponsored by Courvoisier and Cholula Hot Sauce!
To jump off the night, guest were fed like kings and queens as Mali and her team prepared a feast which include everything from Mac and Cheese, Fried Chicken, Collard Greens, Chicken Alfredo, Spaghetti and more. Afterwards, a select few were able to get a taste of Rae Sremmurd’s up and coming album, Sremmlife 2, while in the studio toasting Courvoisier with friends and other rising artists.
After feeling good and eager to hit the stage, the crew came out to the cave part of Tree Sound where Sremmurd and entourage hit the stage and wild out in front of the energetic audience. Now Rae Sremmurd quickly made a name for themselves with the release of their debut album ‘Sremmlife’ which held hits such as “No Flex Zone“, “No Type“, “Come Get Her” and “Throw Sum Mo” featuring Nicki Minaj and Young Thug. Well for 2016 they are definitely expected to do the same as Sremmlife 2 delivers the same energy and club bangers as the first one and will truly get any party started as people can imagine from their single “Do Yoga”.
On the album, Rae Sremmurd features artist Gucci Mane for a track titled, “Black Beatles”, Juicy J on “Shake It Fast,” Lil Jon on “Set The Roof,” and Kodak Black on “Real Chill”. If I would have to select my favorites after tonight I would definitely say, “Black Beatles,” “Set The Roof” and “Now That I Know” will be a few songs that everyone will be playing to finish out the Summer and to keep the Fall Season heated up.
Make sure purchase Rae Sremmurd ‘Sremmlife 2’ on August 12 as it will be available on all music purchasing platforms.
