OK, I knew this was going to happen especially after Tupac made his hologram debut at Coachella, but I DEFINITELY didn’t think it was going to be like this. Apparently a rock band known as, “Black Lips”, decided to give the Notorious B.I.G. his debut at Coachella, but not as a Hologram, but as a life-size cardboard cut out they moved around on the stage. I know Diddy has to be pissed about this. Tupac is brought back as a $100,000 hologram, while Biggie comes back as a $32.95 print out from FedEx Office.

Coachella’s 2013 Hologram Lineup?

WELL!… I feel sorry for a lot of the new artists out right now, because it seems that people miss what music sound liked so much that next year Coachella has already started putting together a Hologram Lineup. Yep! a hologram lineup that ranges from Michael Jackson, Nirvana (Kurk Cobains Band), The Beatles, Mozart and HOLD UP!… JESUS? I really hope that promoters and record labels don’t get out of hand with this, but when record sales are low and you don’t have to talk about percentages with a hologram artist, I think a lot of labels are looking at this as a Godsend. Anyways, checkout the lineup list that has been put together for Coachelle Next Year.

The creator of the already popular, “Hologram Tupac”,  is Nick Smith, president of AV Concepts. I must say after checking out this companies information and see what they have done for other clients and events, I can definitely see this company being able to take entertainment to a different level. But when it comes to the idea of bringing Tupac back to life as holographic image, they were not the creator. Dr. Dre thought of the entire idea and they worked hand-n-hand with him and his camp to make sure his vision came true. Reported by MTV News, the hologram Tupac cost roughly between $100,000 and $400,000, I’m pretty sure they are sending Dre thank you letters and gifts for being the company to create the Hologram Tupac, because I can only image how their schedule for events look now.

Tupac Hologram Performs Live at Coachella

 

Last night to end Coachella 2012 they had a West Coast reunion that was OUT OF THIS WORLD! And with that said, they made sure to bring California most notorious rapper back from the dead. Yes Tupac, well a hologram Tupac actually gave a live performance at the event peforming, “Hail Mary” and “Americaz Most Wanted” with Snoop Dogg and even freaked out people when in the beginning he screams, “What The F*ck is up Coachella!”. I must say who ever did the special effects for this event has literally taken this world into the future that we all see in movies with holographic images. Who will be the next artists, or person they use this technology for?… Kurk Cobain?… Michael Jackson?… or maybe Biggie?…
